Today nothing to do at the office, so i have enough time to read Mr. Kyte book
"Efective Design by Oracle", i love this book, just plain and simple explanation how to do thing and not to do thing.


For those who haven't know Tom, just go to the AskTom, this site
is like a online teacher for me.


The previous book also amazing, "expert one on one",
it's really a handy book with a lot of trick and tip,
also with plain and simple example.

EURO 2004, Farvel Denmark

Great game, my favorite team is the winner, Czech republic deserved to win this game, Baros is a leading top scorer. In the time like this i wish i am at the old town in prague right now to celebrate with all the Czech people drinking pilsner.

I think Sweden should be the winner, because they played a good game and loved to see the yellow team play.

Munich on Saturday

We always go out to munich on saturday, not every week though, but ussualy twice a month, we like to see the crowd of people in Karlsplatz all the way to marienplatz. Of course this is the day for shopping also, we go to turkey shop for meat and chiken and also fresh vegetables, it's located just near by the main train station. We ussualy stop for a doner kebab at Alibaba , the finest kebab in munich, don't forget to try the lahmacun (turk pizza) when you're there.

And we go to Asia shop in rosenheimer platz, there are 2 asia shop there, hongkong markt and orient, just take any S-bahn with direction to ostbahnhof, and get down at rosenheimerplatz, take a forum hotel exit and climb up to the ground floor with elevator and you will see the hongkong markt. Orient shop is located outside the forum building so you have to go out the building and turn right just 50m for the exit door.

Every Wednesday you will find a fresh "tempe" in both shop if you're lucky.


Karlsplatz on Summer Day

So after food shopping we head back to hauptbahnhof (hbf) and start from Hertie, the shopping mall just in front of Hbf. In there you have everything you need, they event have a food court like restorant in the upper floor, complete with small child playground and toilet of course. also in the same floor you can find the toy section and electronic section, for us is the perfect floor, because i can go to the electronic section and my son can go to the toys and playground section and my wife can leave us alone and go to the other floor for clothes and hausehold stuff.

After hertie, just go stright to karlsplatz center, there you can find a gate to the munich shopping center and water fountain and everybody favorite restorant "Mc Donnald". there are always a lot of people there, just sit down enjoying the view or enjoying the company of others while eating their big mac and watching the fountain or just sun bathing or relaxing the legs after long shopping walk,like us and do not forget the happy meal too. :)

Rainbow, view from our backyard

When back to lit a cigarrate and surprise to see the beautifull rainbow, this the first time we saw a rainbow in freising. last time i see one at singkawang, west borneo when visiting my grandma last march.
